Luke Musgrave Released From Hospital Tuesday

Published: Nov 22, 2023 at 02:27 AM
Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave is dealing with an abdominal injury and was released from a Green Bay hospital on Tuesday. Musgrave appeared to emerge from Week 11 without any issues but head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters on Tuesday that Musgrave was dealing with a "significant injury". No further details were offered at the time but fantasy managers have since learned that Musgrave suffered some sort of abdominal injury that required hospitalization. At the moment it seems unlikely that Musgrave will be ready to take the field on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions, although he does have one more chance to get in a practice on Wednesday. If Musgrave doesn't end up taking the field, fellow rookie Tucker Kraft would take over as the No. 1 tight end in Week 12.
