Lamar Jackson Requests Trade

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson decided to take to social media right before head coach John Harbaugh was going to speak to the media on Monday. Jackson claims he asked to be traded on March 2nd due to the Ravens lack of interest in meeting his value. The team claims that the two sides are still discussing a contract and talked last week. It doesn't sound like this contract situation is anywhere close to being over. It doesn't appear that Jackson has an issue with Baltimore, but the former MVP wants a better offer than what he has received in the past. This trade request news might only be to put more pressure on the Ravens to get a deal done.
