Lamar Jackson Expected To Take Part In OTAs This Week

Published: May 22, 2023 at 10:34 PM
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson didn't attend the team's first of 10 organized team activity practices on Monday, but the Ravens are expecting him to be there for practices this week, according to multiple reports. The practices are voluntary until mandatory minicamp next month, but the team is also implementing a new offensive scheme under offensive coordinator Todd Monken. Jackson recently signed a five-year, $260 million contract extension that includes $185 million guaranteed, making him the league's highest-paid player. Baltimore has given Jackson more playmakers at the receiver position as well, so the Ravens aren't expected to be as reliant on the run in 2023. Despite injury concerns, the 26-year-old dual-threat signal-caller is an elite fantasy option at his position.
