Khalil Herbert, Roschon Johnson Miss Another Practice
Published: Oct 12, 2023 at 07:45 PM
Chicago Bears running backs Khalil Herbert (ankle), Roschon Johnson (concussion) and Travis Homer (hamstring) all missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. All three RBs were injured in last Thursday's win over the Washington Commanders, leaving Chicago's backfield extremely thin heading into their Week 6 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Herbert is dealing with a high-ankle sprain and is expected to miss multiple weeks. If Johnson and Homer cannot gain clearance to play on Sunday, D'Onta Foreman, who has been a healthy scratch in four of five games, should lead the Bears backfield. Khari Blasingame and Darrynton Evans are also on the roster at the RB position in Chicago.
