Justin Herbert Throws One Touchdown In Wild-Card Loss
Published: Jan 15, 2023 at 04:49 AM
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert completed 25 of his 43 pass attempts for 273 yards and one touchdown in the team's heartbreaking playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Herbert and the Chargers got off to a great start, scoring 27 points in the first half, but were limited to just three points in the second half. The first touchdown of Herbert's postseason career came on a nine-yard strike to Gerald Everett in the second quarter. Although Los Angeles escaped this one with zero turnovers, they were simply outplayed by the Jaguars down the stretch. Herbert's future in the league remains incredibly bright, and he will look to take another leap forward in his fourth professional season.
