Justin Herbert Could Be Primed For Career Year

Published: Sep 01, 2023 at 03:50 PM
ESPN's Dan Graziano thinks that Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert could be ready to set statistical highs across the board in 2023 while working with new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. Moore helped Dak Prescott become a top QB in his time in Dallas, but Herbert has more raw talent. The Chargers are hoping that Moore will help Herbert play faster and more aggressively. The team thinks they saw evidence of this throughout training camp and that the fourth-year signal-caller could be ready to reach new heights. The 25-year-old had a career-high 5,014 passing yards and 38 touchdowns in 2021. Herbert certainly has the weapons around him to take the next step, making him a highly attractive midrange QB1 target in fantasy once the bigger names at the position come off the board.
