Josh Jacobs Trending Toward Playing On Christmas Day?

Published: Dec 20, 2023 at 07:39 PM
Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (quad) missed the Week 15 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a quad injury. However, that game took place on Thursday Night Football, and the Raiders play on Monday this week. Jacobs will have had 11 days to recover between games, and head coach Antonio Pierce hinted at him playing against the Kansas City Chiefs. According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, Piece said if he were a betting man, he would bet that Jacobs would be back for Week 16. Although Kansas City has allowed the 13th-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs, Jacobs should be started in all leagues if he returns. He rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 meeting with Kansas City. If Jacobs can't go, Zamir White has an RB2 or RB3 outlook on Christmas Day.
