Josh Jacobs Looking To Build On Strong Performance

Published: Oct 07, 2023 at 08:24 AM
Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. In Sunday's contest, Jacobs was also targeted 11 times for eight receptions and 81 yards. After an underwhelming start to the season, Jacobs is showing signs of life. Jacobs faces the Green Bay Packers on Monday. The Packers are coming off a game where they allowed David Montgomery to run all over them. The Lions running back racked up 141 total yards and three rushing touchdowns on 34 opportunities. Jacobs will look to replicate the success that Montgomery found. With Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams questionable for this contest and Garoppolo returning from a concussion, Jacobs may be expected to carry more of the load on offense. Opportunity is king in fantasy football, and Jacobs could be in line for a ton of it. Through four weeks, Jacobs leads all running backs in receiving yards and could see many targets if Adams is absent on Monday. Fantasy managers should be excited to start Jacobs as an RB1 this week.
