Josh Allen Phenomenal In Losing Effort

Published: Nov 27, 2023 at 05:04 AM
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen excelled in the rainy conditions of Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, completing 29-of-51 passes for 339 yards, two touchdowns and one interception with nine carries for 81 yards and two more scores. Allen got his massive fantasy day underway in this barnburner by powering his way into the end zone on a QB draw in the second quarter. He later found Stefon Diggs for a 13-yard score and then evaded an all-out blitz, pump-faking a defender for another rushing TD during the third period. Allen finally connected with Gabe Davis on a go-ahead seven-yard TD in the fourth, but missed out on a potential five-TD effort via a route miscommunication with Davis during OT. Treading water at 6-6, the Bills now look to decompress during a Week 13 bye with a showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs awaiting Buffalo in Week 14.
