Joe Mixon Falls Short Of 100 Rushing Yards On Sunday

Published: Dec 11, 2022 at 09:51 PM
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon returned from a two-game absence on Sunday in the win over Cleveland. Although the former Sooner had trouble getting things going on the ground at times, he still ended with 14 carries for 96 yards, just short of what would have been his second 100-yard rushing performance of the season. Mixon also added two catches for 10 yards and finished better than many had expected, considering he was sidelined with a concussion. While the 26-year-old hasn't been the most consistent runner in 2022-23, he should remain involved as a pass-catcher to help make up for it, even more so if Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Tyler Boyd (finger) aren't available in Week 15 in Tampa.
