Jerry Jeudy Leads Broncos In Receiving In Week 7
Published: Oct 24, 2022 at 04:28 AM
Most fantasy managers likely had Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy firmly on their benches in the Week 7 matchup with the New York Jets. But with quarterback Brett Rypien filling in for the injured Russell Wilson (hamstring), Jeudy was Rypien's favorite target on the day and led the team in targets (11), receptions (seven) and receiving yards (96) in the 16-9 loss. The 23-year-old appears to have much more chemistry with Rypien than Wilson, and it helped Jeudy's cause that Courtland Sutton was being blanketed most of the game by impressive cornerback Sauce Gardner. It was the 23-year-old's best performance since Week 1. Unless the Broncos offense suddenly flips the script in a hurry, Jeudy will probably continue to be a maddening WR4/flex for fantasy managers.
