Jerry Jeudy Helped Off With Hamstring Injury

Published: Aug 24, 2023 at 05:23 PM
Denver Broncos trainers helped wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) off the field at training camp practice on Thursday with an apparent hamstring injury. DNVR's Zac Stevens reports that Jeudy was carted off to the locker room, and he was holding the back of his right leg. The 24-year-old will most likely not play in the preseason finale this Saturday against the Los Angeles Rams, and depending on the severity of the injury, he could be questionable for Week 1 against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. The Broncos already lost Tim Patrick (Achilles) for the season for the second straight year, so they can ill-afford anymore injuries to their receiving corps. If Jeudy misses time early in the regular season, Courtland Sutton and rookie Marvin Mims Jr. would see more pass-catching opportunities, as well as tight end Greg Dulcich.
