Jaylen Waddle Remains Sidelined Thursday

Published: Dec 28, 2023 at 06:08 PM
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle) remained sidelined at practice on Thursday. Although Waddle's high-ankle sprain isn't believed to be all that serious, his status for the Week 17 showdown against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday is murky, especially if he isn't able to practice on Friday. Fantasy managers playing for a championship this week need to plan as though the 25-year-old will not be available to play against Baltimore this weekend. Tyreek Hill (ankle) returned to practice on Thursday, so he should play on Sunday, and he'll be heavily targeted if Waddle is unable to suit up. Receivers Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Braxton Berrios would also have bigger roles in the passing game against the Ravens if Waddle is ultimately ruled out.
