Jaylen Waddle In The Concussion Protocol
Published: Sep 18, 2023 at 10:22 PM
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol after taking a hard hit to the head in Sunday night's victory over the division-rival New England Patriots. Head coach Mike McDaniel did say Waddle was "progressing" through the protocol, but that may not necessarily mean that he'll gain the clearance that he needs later this week in order to play in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos at home. The third-year wideout is a must-start in fantasy lineups if he's on the field, but fantasy managers might have a decision to make later this week. If Waddle doesn't play in Week 3, Tyreek Hill, Braxton Berrios, River Cracraft and Erik Ezukanma could all have bigger roles in the offense. Check back for Waddle's practice statuses this week, starting on Wednesday.
