Jameson Williams Tweaks His Hamstring

Published: Aug 16, 2023 at 03:27 PM
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams (hamstring) pulled up grabbing his right hamstring during training camp practice on Wednesday. The good news is that Williams was able to walk to the locker room under his own power, but it's yet another injury for the second-year receiver this summer. The 22-year-old is already facing a six-game suspension to begin his second NFL season, and the injuries on top of it are making fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues wonder if he's quickly becoming a bust. Williams missed the vast majority of 2022 while recovering from a torn ACL. He needs all the preseason work he can get, but it remains to be seen if this latest injury will keep him out the team's second preseason game this Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
