Jameson Williams To See Plenty Of Preseason Snaps
Published: Aug 02, 2023 at 01:16 PM
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams is suspended for the first six games of the 2023 NFL season and is coming off of a leg injury, but head coach Dan Campbell said he'll see plenty of reps during the team's upcoming preseason games. "We're going to douse him with a ton of game reps," Campbell said. The second-year wideout played in just six contests as a rookie, catching one of his nine targets for 41 yards and a touchdown and rushing once for 40 yards. That said, Williams could benefit from any game-like situations as the team kicks off preseason action on August 11 against the New York Giants.
