Jameson Williams Likely To Miss Remainder Of Preseason

Published: Aug 17, 2023 at 01:18 PM
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams (hamstring) suffered another lower-body injury this week and head coach Dan Campbell said there's a "good chance" he'll be out for the remainder of the preseason. Williams will miss the first six games of the regular season due to a suspension, so it's yet another negative development for the second-year wideout. By the time he returns to action in Week 7, he'll have totaled just two career touches and missed a ton of practice time with multiple injuries. Ultimately, his career outlook is beginning to be very concerning. His place in redraft and dynasty rankings should probably come down. Marvin Jones Jr., Josh Reynolds, Kalif Raymond, and Sam LaPorta should see more looks in his absence.
