Jalen Hurts Uncertain For Week 17 As Well

Published: Dec 24, 2022 at 05:45 AM
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) is sidelined for Saturday's meeting against Dallas. However, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, there's concern that the signal-caller won't be available in Week 17 versus the New Orleans Saints either. ESPN's Stephania Bell also chimed in on Schefter's update, reporting that the team may take a "conservative" approach regarding Hurts' return due to the nature of his injury, meaning it's certainly possible he won't be back until the postseason. Fortunately, Philly has Gardner Minshew to handle things under center moving ahead. While Minshew isn't as talented as Hurts, he's someone to consider for those looking to fill a void at the position, especially with so many quarterbacks around the league dealing with injuries.
