Jalen Hurts Expected To Play Despite Illness

Published: Dec 16, 2023 at 05:36 PM
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (illness) is not practicing on Saturday due to an illness, but he will still travel with the team to Seattle and is expected to play on Monday night against the Seahawks. Hurts' illness is something to keep an eye on and the 25-year-old might not be 100 percent to close out Week 15 action, but he's expected to play and should remain in all starting fantasy lineups in what is the first round of the playoffs in most fantasy leagues. During Philly's two-game losing streak, Hurts has gone 44-for-72 (61.11%) for 495 passing yards, only one touchdown pass and no interceptions, adding 50 rushing yards on 12 attempts while adding a rushing score. Philly's offense has sputtered lately, but they'll have a good opportunity to bounce back on Monday against a suspect Seattle secondary.
