Jakobi Meyers Expected To Hit The Open Market
Published: Mar 08, 2023 at 05:11 PM
New England Patriots impending free-agent wide receiver Jakobi Meyers could receive the biggest contract among a thin group of free-agent receivers this offseason. He has talked to the Patriots about a new deal, but the two sides haven't made much progress, so it sounds like Meyers will hit the open market when the new league year begins on March 15. The 26-year-old was New England's most reliable pass-catcher in 2022, catching 67 passes for 804 yards and six touchdowns. Meyers also finished last year by scoring a touchdown in three straight games. His fantasy value could be on the rise if he leaves the Patriots, but it will depend on where he lands.
