Jahan Dotson Expresses Belief In Sam Howell

Published: Jun 14, 2023 at 06:59 PM
Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell is slated to be the team's starter in 2023 and he'll have a solid group of pass-catchers to work with. One of those pass-catchers will be Jahan Dotson, who caught seven touchdowns as a rookie last season. In an interview with CBS Sports' Jim Rome, Dotson said "We've got our QB situation settled. I think Sam Howell is going to be our guy. I have complete faith in him. He makes throws look super effortless on the field, he's been a great leader." Many have speculated Jacoby Brissett could win the QB1 job, but after Dotson's comments, it's more clear that Howell is the guy until proven otherwise. Howell is a solid late-round QB option given his decent rushing upside and high-level No. 1 wide receiver Terry McLaurin in an offense led by Eric Bieniemy
