Isiah Pacheco Not Practicing Thursday

Published: Dec 14, 2023 at 06:07 PM
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) is not practicing for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Pacheco hasn't practiced or played since the Week 13 loss to the Green Bay Packers and is looking likely to miss his second straight game if he's unable to get back on the practice field on Friday. Kansas City's offense has been flowing through Pacheco for most of the year, so this has put even more pressure on the Chiefs offense and fantasy managers at the worst time of the year. If Pacheco misses another game, Clyde Edwards-Helaire will serve as the early down back once again while Jerick McKinnon sees a bigger role as the pass-catching back against the New England Patriots. Edwards-Helaire had 11 carries for 39 yards and caught two passes for 29 yards in the Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
