Isiah Pacheco Hopeful To Return Soon

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder, hand) is hopeful to return mid-way through camp, according to Nate Taylor of The Athletic. Pacheco suffered a torn labrum and a broken bone in his hand this past season. He was able to play through the injuries, but ultimately needed surgery after the season. Pacheco is still recovering and is unlikely to be ready for the beginning of training camp. The 24-year-old has plenty of competition in camp, but is expected to have a significant role in the offense. He rushed for 830 yards and five touchdowns off 170 carries last season. Pacheco is expected to remain a significant contributor and should be ready for the preseason.
