Hunter Henry Targeted Seven Times In Season Finale

Published: Jan 09, 2023 at 02:44 AM
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry caught six of seven targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 35-23 loss to the Bills. He tied Jakobi Meyers and DeVante Parker for the team in targets with seven. The 28-year-old saw uptick in targets with Jonnu Smith (head) ruled out for Week 18. Henry finished the season with 41 catches for 509 yards and two touchdowns over 17 games. He is entering the final year of his three-year, $37.5 million contract and is expected to be New England's top tight end in 2023. Henry saw his touchdowns drop from nine in 2021 to two in 2022; expect the former Charger to bounce back next season as one of quarterback Mac Jones' favorite red zone targets.
