Hunter Henry A Fringe Option Versus Saints

Published: Oct 07, 2023 at 12:05 AM
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry is a borderline top-12 fantasy option heading into his Week 5 clash with the New Orleans Saints. Henry has quieted down since exploding over the first two weeks of the season, but he has still played well. Just last week, when it seemed like nothing went right for New England against the Cowboys, Henry managed to produce four catches for 51 yards. What should concern managers, though, is that the Saints have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends. On a per-game basis, they have surrendered three catches for 23 yards to opposing teams' tight ends. Not only are those numbers uninspiring for Henry, but he will would have to share those opportunities with Mike Gesicki. If you're deciding between Hunter Henry and a dart throw, pick the former. However, if you have a more steady and reliable option on your roster, this might be the week to bench Henry.
