Evan Engram Won't Report To Voluntary Program

Published: Apr 17, 2023 at 03:16 PM
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram hasn't signed his franchise tender and won't report to the team's voluntary offseason program on Monday, according to sources. The Jaguars expectedly put the franchise tag on Engram after he had a career year in his first season in Jacksonville in 2022. The 28-year-old and the team still have until the middle of July to hammer out a long-term contract extension, but for now, he'll stay away from voluntary workouts this week. Contract issues aside, Engram established himself as a strong TE1 option last year by catching 73 of his 98 targets for 766 yards and four touchdowns in 17 regular season games (14 starts).
