Elijah Mitchell Participating In OTAs

San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (groin) is participating in the team's organized team activities this week and ran with power in Tuesday's session, taking repetitions from the backfield as a pass-catcher. Mitchell also missed time last year due to knee injuries, but it looks like he's good to go as we get closer to the 2023 campaign. The 25-year-old's fantasy value took a big hit when the Niners traded for Christian McCaffrey in 2022, but Mitchell remained productive when he played, averaging 6.2 yards per carry. Mitchell will need to avoid injuries to remain on the fantasy radar, but even with CMC carrying the load, he'll at least be worth a late-round pick as a handcuff in San Fran's backfield.
