DJ Moore Quickly Developing Chemistry With Justin Fields

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore called his on-field connection with quarterback Justin Fields "a work in progress" three weeks ago. But it became evident after the final mandatory minicamp practice this week that the two might be ahead of schedule when it comes to establishing chemistry. "It did come on quickly," Fields said. The focus for Chicago's offense this spring has been the deep passing game, and Moore tied for eighth in the league on receptions of 20-plus yards in 2022. Fields' completion percentage on passes 20-plus yards downfield dipped from 43% as a rookie to 34% last year. Moore, 26, will no doubt be Fields' No. 1 target in the passing game, but the Bears offense must improve dramatically through the air. Fantasy managers should target Moore as a solid WR2 in upcoming drafts.
