Diontae Johnson Injures Hamstring, Won't Return Sunday

Published: Sep 10, 2023 at 07:12 PM
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Week 1 versus the San Francisco 49ers. Pittsburgh hasn't been able to get much done on offense, and now they'll be without one of their top receivers for the rest of the contest. George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth should see a heavier-than-normal dose of targets until Johnson can return. Calvin Austin figures to command an uptick in snaps, too.
