Devin Duvernay Expected To Return In 2023

Published: Mar 28, 2023 at 03:50 PM
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh made it sound like wide receiver Devin Duvernay would return to the team in 2023 despite the recent addition of Nelson Agholor. Duvernay has been in danger of being a salary cap casualty this offseason after catching 37 passes for 407 yards and three touchdowns in 14 regular season games (13 starts) for Baltimore in 2022. The 25-year-old is much more valuable to the Ravens as a kick returner on special teams, but he also gives them some depth in a thin receiving corps. He broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot in late December but should be fully recovered by training camp. With the Ravens fully expected to add more receiving help in the draft, Duvernay won't be very attractive in fantasy as a pass-catcher, especially with quarterback Lamar Jackson's future in Baltimore in question.
