Deebo Samuel Scores Touchdown In Week 17

Published: Dec 31, 2023 at 10:23 PM
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel came up with a solid fantasy championship week effort in a 27-10 road victory over the Washington Commanders. Samuel finished the game with five receptions on six targets for 37 yards and a touchdown through the air, plus three carries for 35 yards on the ground. The two-yard walk-in touchdown was essentially a running play but goes down as a receiving score since the exchange from quarterback Brock Purdy was pitched forward. The 49ers will face the Los Angeles Rams in a Week 18 home matchup, but fantasy managers still playing should probably look elsewhere as Samuel is unlikely to play a full game with the team having clinched the No. 1 seed on Sunday.
