Deebo Samuel Managing Knee Injury

Published: Oct 05, 2023 at 03:01 PM
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (knee, ribs) was limited in practice on Wednesday and is likely going to be managing his knee injury in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport expects Samuel to ramp up his participation in practice the rest of the week, but he'll likely be playing on Sunday at less than 100 percent. Despite not being 100 percent in the Week 4 win over the Arizona Cardinals, he played 87 percent of the offensive snaps. However, Samuel wasn't targeted in the passing game and took three carries for six yards to come up as a big bust for fantasy managers. We'd expect the 27-year-old to be more involved this weekend, but as long as he's not completely healthy, he'll be more of a risk in fantasy.
