DeAndre Hopkins To Visit Titans

Published: Jun 07, 2023 at 06:06 PM
Free-agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is set to visit with the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, marking his first free-agent visit since being released by the Arizona Cardinals on May 26. Head coach Mike Vrabel was on the Houston Texans' staff while Hopkins was there, so the connection could prove to lead Hopkins toward Tennessee. The Titans have a major hole at wide receiver, with Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Kyle Philips and Chris Moore slated to be the top-four receivers for quarterbacks Ryan Tannehill or Will Levis. Hopkins played in just nine games last season thanks to a six-game suspension and a knee injury, but he still looked good in his age-30 campaign. He caught 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns. Ultimately, he'd be a huge upgrade for Tennessee, regardless of if he takes a step back in 2023.
