DeAndre Hopkins Says He's Feeling Great
Published: Jul 07, 2023 at 03:00 PM
Free-agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who is taking his time before training camp starts at the end of July to choose his next team, said he is feeling great and could play for another half-dozen seasons. "I'll retire from football when I'm not a 1K-yard receiver," Hopkins wrote on Threads. "With that said, I was on pace for 1,400 yards last year -- one significant injury in 11 years. I might be playing till I'm 37 the way I feel." The Arizona Cardinals released Hopkins in late May, and he's visited with and received offers from the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans, but no signing is imminent as Hopkins looks to drum up interest from other clubs. The five-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro has six 1,000-yard seasons in his career and should still be seen as a top-25 fantasy wideout.
