David Njoku Questionable For Week 6

Published: Oct 13, 2023 at 05:38 PM
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (face, hand) is listed as questionable to play in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. Njoku returned to the practice field on Friday after missing practice the previous two days. The 27-year-old suffered serious burns to his face and hand before the Week 4 game but was still able to play. The Browns were on bye last week. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said he feels good about Njoku playing again this weekend, but fantasy managers will want to check his official status on Sunday morning. Quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) will miss his second straight game with a rotator-cuff injury, so Njoku is an easy fade as a low-end TE1 in fantasy lineups against a stingy Niners defense. If Njoku is inactive, Harrison Bryant will have a much bigger role.
