David Njoku Dealing With New Knee Injury

Published: Dec 01, 2022 at 03:20 AM
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that tight end David Njoku's knee injury is different than the one he missed practice time with last week. He will continue to work through it this week and isn't being ruled out for Week 13 against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Njoku officially missed practice on Wednesday and could be questionable for this weekend. If he's limited or out, Harrison Bryant and Pharaoh Brown would see more playing time for Cleveland but won't be very attractive fantasy streamers at the position. Njoku had just 29 yards on five catches in last week's overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and found the end zone for the second time this year. If he's active, he'll be a midrange TE1 in fantasy with more upside now that quarterback Deshaun Watson is back.
