David Montgomery Sees Seven Carries In Week 18

Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery carried the ball seven times for 21 yards in a 29-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 18. Montgomery played sparingly in the regular-season finale, standing by as backup Khalil Herbert handled 10 carries. The veteran running back finishes his 2022 season with 801 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 201 carries while he added 34 catches for 316 yards and another score through the air. All of his stats on the ground were career lows. Montgomery is slated to become a free-agent once the playoffs are over and his fantasy value in 2023 will hinge directly on where he ends up signing.
