Davante Adams Injured Friday

Published: Aug 11, 2023 at 05:08 PM
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (leg) walked slowly toward the locker room at training camp on Friday and was favoring his right leg after he was checked out by the team's medical staff. Adams appeared to sustain a lower-leg injury on the first play of team drills during joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers after a collision with Oren Burks. Until we know more on Adams' leg injury, consider him day-to-day. The 30-year-old Pro Bowl receiver is highly unlikely to play in the preseason opener this Sunday against the Niners. Adams led the NFL with 14 touchdowns in 2022 and should still see plenty of targets from new quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in 2023, making him a lock as a top-10 fantasy wideout.
