Daniel Jones Asking For $45 Million Per Season
Published: Feb 25, 2023 at 01:31 AM
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is seeking a significant pay raise this offseason. The 25-year-old is reportedly asking for $45 million per season in extension talks with the organization. The Giants would like to keep it closer to $35 million per year, which is a little above the current franchise tag of $32 million. Jones put together the best year of his career last season, which is certainly going to help him in extension talks. However, the Giants also need to figure out what they want to do with running back Saquon Barkley who is also a pending free agent. The Giants very well might have to pick one or the other, but we'll wait and see if Jones lowers his asking price.
