C.J. Stroud Officially Ruled Out For Week 15

Published: Dec 16, 2023 at 09:46 PM
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) did not travel with the team and has officially been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. He had previously been listed as doubtful, so this news doesn't come as much of a surprise. With the rookie sidelined, Houston is expected to start veteran Case Keenum under center. Between the downgrade at quarterback, Tank Dell (leg) landing on injured reserve, and Nico Collins (calf) being listed as questionable, the Texans' offense could struggle on Sunday afternoon. Tennessee is favored to win, and no Texans player should be viewed as an absolute must-start at fantasy football. Managers can treat Noah Brown, Devin Singletary, and Dalton Schultz as FLEX-range players this week.
