Chase Brown Active For Week 12

Published: Nov 26, 2023 at 04:45 PM
Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Chase Brown (hamstring) is officially active for the Week 12 contest versus the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday after he was activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday. With Brown returning to the Bengals' backfield as depth, Chris Evans is a healthy scratch for this one. The 23-year-old rookie will be third on the RB depth chart against Pittsburgh behind starter Joe Mixon and backup Trayveon Williams, so he doesn't have any standalone fantasy value. The fifth-rounder has carried the ball just two times for six yards and has caught all three of his targets for seven yards in his first five NFL games before he landed on Injured Reserve.
