Broncos Not Sold On Greg Dulcich?

Published: Apr 13, 2023 at 06:12 PM
Denver Broncos new head coach Sean Payton sounded non-committal when asked about the team's tight end room heading into this month's NFL draft, especially regarding tight end Greg Dulcich. "We'll see (on Dulcich)," Payton said. "Some of it was hard -- the evaluation (on Dulcich). Some of it was hard." The 23-year-old looked good at times in 2022 in his rookie season, but he also played in just 10 games (six starts) due to injuries and finished with 33 catches for 411 yards and two touchdowns. Denver added Chris Manhertz to the position in free agency, and the Broncos are expected to take another tight end in this year's draft. It all adds up to bad news for Dulcich, who should be considered more of a TE2 with upside in fall fantasy drafts.
