Antonio Gibson Should Be Left On Benches Against San Francisco

Published: Dec 23, 2022 at 04:24 PM
Washington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson is not a starting option in Week 16. The Washington offense has the misfortune of taking on the San Francisco 49ers' shutdown defense that has been incredibly effective in limiting running backs. Over their last four weeks, the 49ers have allowed the third-least fantasy points to opposing running backs. Also, considering the 24-year-old has had diminished usage over his last few appearances, he's appearing to be a player fantasy managers can't trust with their seasons on the line in Week 16. Unless your roster is very thin, there are likely better available options than Gibson.
