Amon-Ra St. Brown Wants To Be More Of A Deep Threat

Published: Jun 20, 2023 at 03:02 PM
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has the eighth-most receptions (196) in the NFL over the last two seasons, and he could be set for another big year in 2023. St. Brown said he wants to become more of a deep threat in his third NFL season, and receivers coach Antwaan Randle El said he's seen subtle grown from St. Brown in that area. The 23-year-old has averaged 10.6 yards per catch in his career and averaged slightly more yards after the catch in 2022 (4.9) than he did in his rookie year (4.7). The only wideouts with more catches than St. Brown in the last two years are Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, Cooper Kupp, Stefon Diggs, Travis Kelce and Chris Godwin.
