AJ Dillon Misses Practice With Thumb Injury

Published: Dec 14, 2023 at 01:23 AM
Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon (thumb) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice report. It remains to be seen if Dillon's thumb injury is actually serious enough to put his status in danger for the Week 15 game on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 25-year-old had been dealing with a groin injury in recent weeks but hasn't missed any time and has been given 53 touches for 246 scrimmage yards with backfield mate Aaron Jones (knee) sitting out the last three games due to an MCL sprain. Dillon has been a volume-based RB2 in fantasy with Jones out, but that could change in Week 15 if he's limited or if Jones returns to action. We should have a better idea of what Green Bay's backfield will look like against Tampa in a few more days.
