A.J. Brown Clears Century Mark For Third Week In A Row

Published: Oct 09, 2023 at 12:39 AM
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown caught six of eight targets for 127 yards during the team's 23-14 win over the Los Angeles Rams. The 26-year-old gashed the Rams defense repeatedly, averaging his highest yards per catch so far this year. Brown was the only Eagles wide receiver to see more than five targets in Week 5. Teammate DeVonta Smith, who has been quiet over the past month, looked visibly upset over his lack of involvement in the win. The team will likely look to get him involved early next week, especially with Sauce Gardner likely shadowing Brown for the majority of the game. Brown will have his toughest matchup of the season next week against the New York secondary but will still be considered a WR1 in Week 6.
