Aaron Rodgers Won't Play In Second Preseason Game
Published: Aug 17, 2023 at 05:13 PM
New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that quarterback Aaron Rodgers won't play in the team's second preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. Saleh hasn't decided on whether Rodgers will see any action in the preseason finale versus the New York Giants on Aug. 26. The 39-year-old future Hall of Fame QB was never expected to see any preseason repetitions until at least the third and final game. Rodgers is looking to bounce back in 2023 after a career-worst season in his final year with the Green Bay Packers. He has the improved weapons around him in New York to get it done, but he'll have an extremely tough test in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. Draft Rodgers as a high-end QB2 in fantasy instead of your QB1.
