DeAndre Hopkins Won't Play In Week 18

Published: Jan 04, 2023 at 07:45 PM
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) won't play in Week 18 against the San Francisco 49ers. The star receiver didn't play against the Atlanta Falcons last week after suffering a knee injury during practice. With the Cardinals eliminated from playoff consideration, it's no surprise that Hopkins won't play this week. The star receiver ends the 2022 season with 64 receptions on 96 targets for 717 receiving yards and three touchdowns in nine games. Depending on what Arizona does in the offseason, Hopkins might have played his final game for the Cardinals. However, the star receiver showed that he has plenty of gas left in the tank and is a WR2 or better next year, regardless of where he is playing.
